Jimmy Choo as every girl knows are famous for shoes - but perhaps in the future not just for shoes. Oh, I suppose the brand is also famous for it’s founder, former Vogue accessories editor Tamara Mellon.
The Choo business is planning to broaden their product range with items like:
- handbags (their Saba handbag already has a long waiting list)
- sunglasses (later in 2008)
- fragrances (in 2009)

JL Womenswear On The Button

Sales of JL Womenswear at John Lewis are significantly on the up and their marketing team are looking for yet more.
They have recruited Florence Brudenell-Bruce, the model girlfriend of British F1 driver Jensen Button, to model the JL clothing range. It’s an attempt to attract younger, trendy shoppers and as a spokesperson says ….They are sexing up their own brand.
