What Does H&M Stand For?
December 5, 2008 by John
Ever wondered what the H and M in H&M stand for? Me too, so I went and found out!
H is for Hennes and M is for Mauritz - giving you Hennes & Mauritz. So now you know too!
H&M was one of the first hight street fashion chains to offer affordable ranges from rather expensive fashion designers. Sell-out ranges from the likes of Roberto Cavalli and Stella McCartney have caused large queues and crowds at the chains stores.
Last year the company netted sales amounting to some £7.7 billion – so that’s an awful lot of affordable clothing being sold to fashion conscious consumers!
