Who can register for a BeautyHive account?
Currently, BeautyHive.com exclusively serves licensed Sola Salon professionals. Pros are required to submit up-to-date license documentation when registering their BeautyHive account.
We hope to invite other beauty pros to join The Hive in 2022, so check back soon for updates!
Can I purchase on BeautyHive without a professional cosmetology license?
No, BeautyHive and our exclusive salon pricing is for licensed beauty professionals only. If you have a current cosmetology license, sign up here to register your information and start shopping at BeautyHive.
Where does BeautyHive get their products?
All products on BeautyHive come directly from the manufacturers. BeautyHive is not a diverter and works directly with salon brands to bring 100% authorized products to independent salon professionals.
Does BeautyHive have store locations?
BeautyHive is an online store only.

How can I view my order history for annual tax filing purposes?
You can find all of your order history in My Account. Your order history will automatically show the last 30 days. If you need a different time range, utilize the dropdown filter to select the dates that suit your needs.

What are the shipping fees on BeautyHive?
When will my order ship and where does BeautyHive ship from?
You can easily check your order status by logging into My Account. We process and ship out orders Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Orders with standard shipping will usually be fulfilled and shipped within one business day. Once shipped, you’ll receive an email from us with tracking information. We ship from the Southeastern USA.
Where does BeautyHive ship to?
We ship within the 48 contiguous US states. We currently do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or internationally. We also do not ship to P.O. boxes. We hope to add more places to this list as we continue to expand!
How can I track my order?
Once your order has shipped, you’ll receive an email from us with tracking information. Please note it could take up to 48 hours for tracking information to update.
How do I make changes to my order?
If you need to make any changes to your order, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will do our best to modify the order before it ships. If your order has already shipped, we will not be able to modify it.
What is BeautyHive’s return policy?
My order arrived with something missed, incorrect, or damaged.
If your BeautyHive package arrives missing items, with incorrect items, or with any damage to items, email us right away at email@example.com. Please include photos of your packing slip and any damage, if applicable.
Payment Methods & Promo Codes
If I save my credit card information in my account, is it safe?
Your auto-checkout credit card information is encrypted and protected by a password for your security. To ensure your information is never stolen, your password decryption only shows a portion of your credit card information—meaning that if your password is stolen, your information is still safe in our system.
Why isn't my promo code working?
We are happy to honor all promo codes that are established through BeautyHive’s marketing channels and communications through our marketing partners.
Promo codes can be specific to dates, products or minimum total amount. All promotional offers, emails and sales cannot be combined with any other offer. Only one promo code can be applied per order, and each code can only be used once per customer. Promo codes are not valid on previous orders.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you’re having trouble. It’s helpful to include what’s in your cart in your message so that our team can provide you with the most accurate information in their reply.
What is Hive Rewards?
Hive Rewards is our free program designed with one goal: making it easier and faster for you to earn rewards back on the purchases you’re making to run your business.
Through the program, you’ll be eligible to earn Hive Points whenever you shop with BeautyHive. Hive Points can be redeemed for Hive Cash, AKA dollars off your purchase. Redeem points for $5, $10, $15 $20, or more off.
Once you join, you’ll also receive exclusive member-only perks, such as free shipping on orders over $99, an annual birthday gift, concierge-level customer service, and personalized offers delivered directly to your inbox. And of course, 100% happiness guaranteed—always.

How do I earn Hive Points?
You can earn Hive Points through the following activities:
Joining: New salons pros who join will get started with 250 Hive Points. That’s halfway to your first Hive Cash discount!
Making a purchase: All purchases earn points for every dollar spent (before tax and shipping), depending on your membership tier. Points will post to your account immediately after placing your order.
Refer a Sola friend: Invite your friends to join The Hive, and you'll get $15 Hive Cash after your friend's first purchase! Your friend must be a Sola Salon professional and new to BeautyHive.

Do my Hive Points ever expire?
Hive Points can be redeemed for up to 6 months from the date they were originally earned. Make sure to spend your Hive Points within 6 months to retain your balance!

What do the different tier statuses mean?
The more you shop at BeautyHive, the greater the rewards! Members can earn tier status with higher rewards based on their spend. Please refer to the Hive Rewards page for a summary of spend qualification and additional rewards available to our most active members!
When you join, you’ll automatically be placed in Insider status. Once you spend $999 or more in purchases, you’ll automatically be moved up to Loyalist status. And, if you spend $1,999 or more in purchases, you’ll be automatically moved up to Elite status.
How long do I keep my tier status?
Once you earn a tier, you keep it through the next calendar year. To keep your new tier, your only to-do is maintaining the annual spend threshold.
For example, if you earn Loyalist status on October 1st, 2022, you'll be eligible for that status through December 31st, 2023. As long as you maintain the Loyalist spend threshold in 2023, you'll hold onto that status in 2024!

Where can I find my Hive Rewards account information?
This tab will track your Hive Rewards activity, your current Hive Points balance, and your Hive Cash.

Which products count for earning Hive Points?
You’ll earn Hive Rewards on ALL purchases from ALL brands. Zero exceptions!
What happens to my points when I return items?
All points earned from that order will be deducted from your account balance when the product is returned.
How do I redeem my points for dollars off my order?
Does my Hive Cash ever expire?
When you redeem Hive Points, you’ll receive a Hive Cash promotional code. This code is valid for 6 months from the date you received it.

If I return an item that I used Hive Cash to buy, will I be refunded for the cash/points?
Hive Cash applied to your purchase is non-refundable. If you choose to return an item where you redeemed a Hive Cash reward, you will be refunded for the price paid after applying the discount.
When will I receive my birthday gift?
All members who have provided their birthday information will be emailed a surprise on their birthday. Instructions on redemption will be provided in the email. Click here to update your birthday information.
